Reflections on 'Man and Nature': A Photography Exhibition

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of concluding my three-month residency with RaumArs in Rauma (Finland) with a vernissage at the Taide Rauma Gallery. The event was a beautiful experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to showcase my new exhibition Man and Nature.

The exhibition features a collection of photographs where I used unobtrusive observation techniques to capture the behavior of both people and animals. The similarities are striking, and the resulting artwork on display is a testament to the connection between us and the animal kingdom.

I will be leaving Rauma at the end of this week. However, the exhibition has no fixed end date, so if you're in the area, I encourage you to visit and explore the artwork at your own pace. I also want to clarify (as I've already got some criticism about it) that when I say "Man" in the exhibition title, I refer to humanity as a whole and not just the male gender. My intention is to create a welcoming space for everyone, and I'm happy to share that half my people photos feature women.

If you're interested in my artwork, want to buy a piece, or have any questions, I would love to hear from you. Please feel free to contact me here. And if you haven't subscribed to my blog yet, just click the Subscribe button at the top left corner of this page.

Thank you for your interest in my exhibition, and I hope you have the opportunity to experience Man and Nature firsthand.
